Having doubled ARR in the last 12 months, this D2C business plans to double this figure again during the next 12 months. It, therefore, requires a senior performance marketing leader who can drive new customer acquisition, owning the entire acquisition mix with a solid focus on Paid Social, Paid Search, Affiliates and SEO.

 

This is a genuine opportunity for a Director or VP of Performance/Acquisition Marketing who has a proven track record working within the D2C subscription space (selling a physical product) to come in, use your extensive experience to drive growth that will provide you with career highlights to only further your future career prospects.

 

Marketing is a fundamental department within the business, and coming in as Director of Acquisition, you will have various team members to manage who will execute across the performance marketing mix. In the short to mid-term, you will need to be hands-on with the Paid Social activity, but with all channels under your guidance, you will have the autonomy to decide how each channel will be managed in the future. This could involve hiring more team members or using agency support.

 

Aside from the BAU channels, there will also be a degree of your time allocated to looking at new and evolving channels and bringing in a test-and-learn mindset; you will analyse their performance and bring them into the mix when appropriate.

 

Supported by a solid in-house creative function, you will collaborate with broader marketing teams to provide the creative assets needed to build exceptional campaigns that convert and seek out ideal customer profiles that offer strong LTV for the business.

 

Over time, you will learn the insights and expertise that will broaden your marketing channel experience, which could lead to you becoming a future VP or CMO.

 

Operating as a remote-first business, you can be located anywhere within the US; however, the team meets quarterly (expenses paid) in LA.

 

The package will include a bonus, health insurance, free dog food, learning and development opportunities, and more with a base salary of c. $160k. However, this being such a critical hire, this figure is flexible for the right person.
