Acquire Digital talent has been retained on a very exciting project to find their first Head of Growth Marketing.
As Head of Growth Marketing, you’ll enter a startup environment with ambitious, achievable growth targets over the next four years. As with many startups, there will be a mixture of strategy and hands-on execution with a heavy focus on Performance Marketing.
There will be a few direct reports, alongside multiple agencies, to manage from the off. Still, it will be down to you to analyse customer insights and gain a good understanding of the unit economics, looking at overall LTV, not just CPA.
From here, you will establish a scalable sales channel given to a direct report/additional hire while you continue to scale the team, budgets and other sales channels.
You will have an extensive background in DTC/D2C product subscription companies. Although ideally, this would be within pet food, we are happy to consider a range of product subscriptions such as human food, wine, beauty, health, wellness, flowers etc. With a solid background in product subscription businesses, you’ll understand the whole supply chain and LTV economics.
You’ll have experienced this in companies with revenue of no less than £10m, and be able to demonstrate how you’ve been able to 3, 4, and 5x this in previous positions.
You’ll be highly analytical and who isn’t afraid of responsibility. You can discuss the frameworks you use when taking on test and learn strategies, have exceptional skills in Performance Marketing (Paid Search, Paid Social etc.), a strong understanding of CRO and an ability to forecast your future goals.
The market has been challenging in 2023, but with an already strong brand name, and the financial resource available to you, this is one of the most exciting Head of Growth Marketing opportunities we have seen this year.
For the right person, this position could lead you to become Growth Director and maybe even their future CMO.
The office will be in London with 2/3 days in/out hybrid approach.
Aside from your base salary, you’ll also be incentivised through an annual bonus of up to 20%. There may even be a long-term incentive plan (LTIP) available later down the line.
