The covid pandemic hit the travel space hard.
But it’s now in a state of growth, with many of us looking to make up for ‘lost time’ on family getaways.
I’m supporting an online travel brand that is rapidly growing. So is their marketing team as they look to bring in a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to cover the UK and Australian markets.
Paid Search is a core business acquisition driver, so you’ll be well-versed in Google Ads, strategically and hands-on. Next up is Paid Social, which is a growing channel for them, and therefore, you will also have a strong background managing this channel both hands-on and strategically.
You’ll also have the opportunity to test, learn and scale with various other channels such as programmatic display, native, affiliates etc. Therefore, your knowledge of these channels is a plus.
You’ll be an out-and-out data-led performance marketer who loves to get involved in A/B testing and has solid Excel skills, being able to use advanced features such as pivot tables etc.
This small in-house team will allow you complete autonomy over the UK and Australian markets, with budgets starting at around £100k per month that will only continue to grow. A destination where you can really make a name for yourself.
At this stage, you won’t have any direct reports. Still, you will be a master of your craft and comfortable taking complete strategic and hands-on ownership over the Performance Marketing campaigns in your two markets.
Ideally, you will have gained your performance marketing experience working within B2C e-commerce. Although some agency experience is ok, you must have spent part of your career working in-house.
Operating as a remote-first business, you can be based anywhere in the UK. However, occasional travel will occur (once every 4-6 weeks) to either the UK office in Manchester or HQ in Germany. The base salary offered is c. £65k.
