Founded in 2006, they were born from a passion for finding the unexpected amidst a rejection of the high street’s big corporates. The co-founders recognised a market opportunity to connect customers directly with small creative retail businesses through a curated online marketplace.



Shoppers could browse and buy from the UK’s most innovative independent businesses, accessing unique, quality products, while entrepreneurs finally had a route to market that solved their fundamental marketing and distribution challenges.


They do not design, manufacture or directly source any products themselves. They don’t hold any stock or manage any distribution warehouses. They don’t have any physical retail presence, meaning 100% of their revenue is driven online. Instead, they source and handpick small creative business partners to sell on their website. is the heart of their business and their storefront. They’re an established gifting and lifestyle destination, welcoming over 5 million customers annually, making it the “go to” destination for gifting and self-treating.


After a recent re-brand, the challenge was to bring on board an outstanding senior acquisition marketer with a robust background in media measurement and designing bespoke attribution models, one of the key pillars that will bring continued success to the overall marketing function.


Through a series of market mapping and detailed searches, a handful of exceptionally talented individuals were presented, with Ana being the pick of the bunch.


Having a diverse background, having previously worked for Deliveroo, Google, GoPuff and Sproutl, Ana could show clear demonstration across the suite of critical requirements needed from this new hire.


Ana joins the business at an exciting time of growth for the company and is looking forward to the next growth stage within her career.
